Very fun full day for us yesterday in beautiful weather! Our guys were treated to some excellent halibut fishing and east limits of nice red snapper. We ended our day with 10 nice halibut to 15 lbs. We are currently out on another trip as I write this so we will check in this afternoon. Weather is forecasted to be beautiful. Book your spots online or call the landing directly.

Mike checked in for the Western Pride out of Daveys Locker Newport Beach. We got off the dock with a pretty light load, so we stayed close to home. The weather was absolutely gorgeous today, so we just drifted around close to the harbor. We picked and scratched and ended up with a pretty decent catch. We ended up with 65 red snapper, 25 or so miscellaneous groupers and chilies and stuff like that, 1 whitefish, and 1 giant cabazon -- like an 8.5-pound cabazon. That was our jackpot fish. Wee ended up with 90 mixed rockfish. Overall a pretty nice afternoon. Pretty enjoyable. Mike has the current fish report for you below.

We have another afternoon half-day tomorrow, and a 9-3 on Friday. Hope to see you guys on the boat!

Gus checked in for the Pursuit out of 22nd Street Landing. We are on our way back in from the island. We put together a decent day of fishing. A little bit tougher on the rockfish side of things but we still managed 7 or 8 a round. Nice quality stuff mixed in, some lingcod, and big standout sheephead, along with nice reds for our 22 guys. On the inside we got a nice little sample on the halibut, the biggest one around 20-22 pounds, and a few more sheephead and calico Bass to go with the bottom stuff. Overall a decent day.
